A "fake SBI KYC" message claims your bank account will be blocked today unless you complete KYC through a link. It is a phishing scam — real banks never suspend accounts over SMS/WhatsApp links or ask you to "verify" on a non-bank website. Do not click the link; update KYC only at a branch or the official bank app.
Got a message like this? Check the screenshot →Dear Customer, your SBI account will be BLOCKED today due to incomplete KYC. Update immediately at http://sbi-kyc-verify.xyz or your account is suspended.
Does SBI block accounts over SMS?
